Nursery Admissions
Furzedown Nursery offers full time places (30 hours) and part time places (15 hours).
- A full time place is Monday- Friday, term time only.
- Part time places are either mornings (8.30-11.30 Monday to Friday) or afternoons (12.00pm-3.00pm Monday to Friday) term time only.
- All children aged 3 and 4 years old are entitled to 15 hours funded provision over a week. Your child may be entitled to an additional 15 hours a week of free childcare, for working parents- so 30 hours in total.

If your application is successful, you will be required to provide Mrs Boxell (School Admin Officer) with your eligibility code and National Insurance number. If you have any questions about admissions, please email admin@furzedown.wandsworth.sch.uk
If you do not qualify for a full-time place, but you require additional hours, we can offer ‘Top Up’ sessions, at a cost of £20 per session. Please note these spaces are limited.
Please be aware that there is no automatic right of admission from the Nursery to the main school. You will need to apply online via Wandsworth Primary School Admissions for a Reception place. Visit our Admissions page for more information
We have one main admissions intake during the year, in September. If you are successful in being offered a place, you will be contacted by email by the end of March and sent a confirmation letter detailing your child’s session, as well as information about our New Entrants’ meeting and pre-start play dates. You will be informed of your start date in due course.
