Our Nursery provides a calm, nurturing and playful environment where children begin their school journey. We focus on building strong relationships, developing communication and language, and supporting children to become confident, happy and independent learners. Learning is rooted in play and exploration, helping children feel secure and excited about coming to school.

Our learning
Regular updates and photographs will showcase learning through play, including:
- Building relationships and sharing
- Developing listening and attention
- Exploring mark making, early number and physical skills
- Learning through stories, songs and imaginative play
How you can help at home
In Nursery, children benefit from routines that support independence and communication. At home, you can:
- Encourage children to dress themselves, use the toilet independently and tidy away toys
- Share books daily, talk about pictures and retell familiar stories
- Sing songs, rhyme and talk about everyday experiences
These early skills support children’s confidence and readiness for Reception.
Communication
Tapestry
We use Tapestry to share your child’s learning and development. Parents and carers are encouraged to upload photos and comments to celebrate learning at home.
Parents Meeting will also take place in mid November.
