At Furzedown, we are proud to offer wraparound care for children from Nursery to Year 6, providing a reliable and convenient solution for busy families.
Our Breakfast Club and Afterschool Club are run by our dedicated school staff, ensuring a familiar, safe, and nurturing environment. Located on the school site, this setup allows for a seamless transition between care and the school day, giving children the continuity and comfort they need.
Whether it's a healthy breakfast to kick-start their morning or fun and engaging activities after school, our wraparound care is designed to support your child’s well-being and development.
Breakfast Club
Welcome to our Breakfast Club, a fantastic way to start the school day!
Our club is runs from 7:30 AM to 8:25 AM, Monday to Friday. We provide a nutritious breakfast to fuel young minds and a range of activities to ensure a positive and productive start to their day.
How to Book
We kindly ask parents to book and pay in advance for the half term. The cost is:
- £3.50 per day for half-term bookings.
- £4.00 per day for ad-hoc bookings (subject to availability).
Spaces are limited, so we encourage early booking to secure your child’s spot.

Afterschool Care
Our After School Care enables parents/carers to have high quality, affordable childcare at the end of the school day. We are very proud to be able to offer a separate provision for children in the Early Years. All places MUST be pre-booked and pre-paid. The children will be provided with a healthy, hot snack plus participate in indoor and outdoor activities. They will be encouraged to read, play board games, make models, enjoy organised outdoor sports or do homework and socialise with friends.
After School Care is extremely popular at Furzedown with a limited number of places. We operate a waiting list in order to manage the demand.

Sessions cost £18.00 per day, per child (10% siblings' discount), payable by half termly invoice.
