Parents’ Toolkit

Dear Parents and Carers

We appreciate that this continues to be a challenging time for everyone – especially for parents, many of whom are having to juggle additional responsibilities at what is already a very stressful time.  Thank you for everything that you are doing to support your child at home and please do let us know if you are struggling.

The BBC have produced a toolkit for parents which includes top tips, useful links and expert advice to support you and your child’s wellbeing and learning in this changing world.  We hope it might be useful.

Toolkit

Later this week we will be sending out a parent survey via text to gather feedback on your child’s remote learning experience.  It should only take a couple of minutes and we would be very grateful if you could spare the time to share your thoughts.

Furzedown is a friendly, happy and stimulating place to learn. We have a strong sense of community and we ensure that our children feel safe and nurtured.
Above all we want our children to have a variety of experiences during their time with us, to be willing to try new things without fear of failure and to become independent, confident and open minded young people.
